United Way
A few team members of the Diamond crew had the opportunity to serve alongside Sertoma of Alexandria Minnesota packing bags to support the United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties Backpack Attack initiative for local students. It is an honor to support the community where we can!
Outreach Food Shelf
In November, some of the Diamond Buick GMC team had the opportunity to tour our local Outreach Food Shelf, learning about needs in Douglas and surrounding counties, and presented a donation to support the impact this organization if making within our community every day.
Wake up Alexandria
Diamond Buick GMC was the host for Wake-up Alexandria on April 21, 2023. Wake-Up Alexandria is a one-hour networking event held the first and third Friday of each month from 7:30-8:30 am at different Chamber member locations. Attendees enjoy breakfast, coffee, networking and a short program from the host and non-profit that the host selects. Diamond Buick GMC chose the American Red Cross as our non-profit.
Bull-A-Rama
The Alexandria Fire Department Relief Association holds this fundraiser yearly and Diamond Buick GMC was a proud sponsor of this two day event May 12-13, 2023 . The Alexandria Fire Department is a volunteer department. Bull-A-Rama is their largest fundraiser of the year. Diamond Buick GMC is proud to sponsor and attend this great event.
Cool 94.3 Cool Summer Concert Series 2023
Diamond Buick GMC is the proud sponsor of Cool 94.3 Summer Concert Series hosted at Copper Trail Brewing Co. This outdoor music concert series is a chance for the community to hear amazing music outdoors. Kicking off the 2023 season with The Fabulous Armadillos, Transit Authority- A Tribute to the band Chicago, Chase & Ovation- A Tribute to The Music of Prince and ending with Bohemian Queen- Nationally Recognized Queen Tribute Band.
School of Fish
The School of Fish presented by Diamond Buick GMC is a “how to” fishing book by Fishing the Midwest Fisherman Mike Frisch. Students get their won fishing rod and reel, tackle, t-shirt and more. They learn how to tie knots and rig their own fishing lines. They learn about lakes, the fish that live in them and how to catch ‘em.
Vikingland Builders Association of Alexandria Golf Tournament
Diamond Buick GMC has been the proud sponsor of the Vikingland Builders Association of Alexandria for several years and we are happy to support this golf tournament. This fun tournament is made up of teams that represent companies in our surrounding community that make up many of our commercial customers.
Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament
The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce held its 31st Duffers Delight golf Tournament on June 15, 2023 at the Alexandria Golf Club. More than 200 golfers gathered for a day of fun, networking and golf. The event is the main fundraiser for the Chamber, supporting its mission to promote the Alexandria Lakes Area as the ultimate destination to live, work, play and prosper. Diamond Buick GMC is a hole sponsor, sponsoring the hole in one event.
World's Largest Trap Shooting Championship
More than 340 high school teams featuring nearly 7,900 student athletes participated over nine days in the 2023 Trap Shooting Championship at the Alexandria Area Shooting Park. Diamond Buick GMC is a proud sponsor of this event.
Ellingson Golf for the Cure Tournament
Diamond Buick GMC is a proud sponsor and played in the Ellingson Golf for the Cure Golf Tournament in June of 2023. This tournament is a fundraiser for the Douglas County Relay for Life. This tournament continues programs like cancer screening, 24/7 support, and research for treatment and cures.
